“We can’t change the world unless we change ourselves.”
– Notorious B.I.G.
Associate Attorney Jared Mazzei knew at an early age that he wanted to be an attorney because he was intrigued by the prospect of arguing for justice in the courtroom in front of a jury. His passion lies in the litigation process in order to protect the rights and advocate for the victims of personal injury that have been injured due to no fault of their own.
Mr. Mazzei was born and raised in a small town in northern New Jersey in a blue-collar family. After graduating from high school, Mr. Mazzei remained in the northeast where he attended Melhenberg College in Allentown, PA. He was the recipient of the excellence in psychology award for his research projects examining addiction. He then attended Widener School of Law in Harrisburg, PA.
While attending Widener School of Law in Harrisburg, PA, Mr. Mazzei served as clinic leader for the Widener Civil Law Clinic which helped indigent people resolve civil matters. He also served as an intern for Pennsylvania State Court Judge Jeannine Turgeon and Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Intelligence Division.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Mazzei worked as a criminal defense attorney giving him the practical experience of presiding in the courtroom and before a jury, providing the valuable perspective while advocating for his injured clients. He later transitioned into personal injury law as he recognized the challenges associated with dealing with insurance company defendants and the need for our clients to have an experienced, competent, and determined advocate willing to work to protect their rights and interests.
In April 2016, Mr. Mazzei and his family moved to Denver, Colorado. He enjoys hiking, camping with his wife and two children, and building custom furniture from repurposed wood.
